Round Ireland Race (The big one!)The offshore ISORA's (Irish Sea Offshore Racing Association) can be anything from adrenaline fuelled blasts to painstakingly picking the windshifts and playing the tides across the Irish Sea. You will be racing against some of the finest boats and well drilled crews not just in the UK but internationally. Offshore racing is tough but immensely satisfying and it usually involves a few beers the night before and/or after the race... and we can categorically say that the craic is of a different order in the Wicklow Sailing Club after the race. The bar is open 24 hrs! This is a great way to build up your sea miles - if you join us for the deliveries you'll clock up around 1000 nM. This race is a test of resilience as well as sailing skill and the memories will be with you for the rest of your life. The entry includes the qualifying race from Liverpool to Douglas IoM which is mandatory - June 5-7th. Accommodation on board is VERY basic! Cost £ 2300 per person, with snacks / drinks on board included. Feel free to join us for delivery from Conwy to Liverpool on the Thursday and return to Conwy on Sunday for the qualifier and to Wicklow on the 17th returning to Conwy the day after we've finished.Racing
