You will be aboard our 6.2m RIB Mach 1 with 140hp Suzuki on the back, a larger than average sized boat for these courses. This means comfortable seating for everyone and a solid feel both in open water and for close quarter manoeuvres. We are blessed with a stunning training ground, protected from the worst of the elements, in the Conwy estuary and river, and if weather permits Conwy Bay. On completion of this course you will understand your responsibilities on the water and have the skills and knowledge to take your boat on short passages in reasonable conditions. PBL2 also enables you to apply for an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) allowing a holder to charter powerboats abroad. We are also able to advise those that are looking to work in the marine industry how to go about getting a commercial endorsement for their PBL2. Cost - £ 225 per person.
