| 1ISORA Coastal Race and optional milebuilder 2ISORA Coastal Race and optional milebuilder 2On board our grand prix race boat Jezebel (J111) a great day out in Cardigan Bay hosted by Pwllheli Sailing Club. This is our second race of the season and we'll be racing against some of premier Irish Sea race boats over about a 40nM course. You will learn the finer points of sail trim and how to get the best out of the boat along with helming tips. Cost £ 105 per person. If you wish to join for the milebuilder we will be departing Conwy on 17th April for Pwllheli (approx 70nM - as such a qualifying passage for YM) and leaving Pwllheli 19th April returning to Conwy late evening or early morning. This passage will include transit of the Swellies in the Menai Strait and is a fascinating exercise in tidal planning. Cost for race and milebuilder £ 235 Accommodation on board is VERY basic, snacks and refreshments on board included. You will be racing against some of the finest boats and well drilled crews not just in the UK but internationally. Offshore racing is tough but immensely satisfying and it usually involves a few beers the night before and/or after the race... and we can categorically say that the Guiness is excellent in the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire! This is a great way to build up your sea miles - if you join us for the deliveries you'll clock up around 250 nM in just three days. Accommodation is on board but VERY basic! Cost £ 295 per person, with snacks / drinks on board included.
